Today I wrote to my local federal MP (he's in opposition at the mo). Just an email ramble, really. It was mostly fuelled by how much more I hate the government than I thought I would (which was a lot: now I'm actually on the verge of rioting or something).

He wrote a nice email back this afternoon. I like it. Maybe I will write every now and then.

Hey, everyone should donate to the climate council. The government tried to wreck them but they decided to just go out on their own and get crowdsourced funding. That's boss.
