Living History

I remember the first time I came across the concept of Eminem.

It was on the way to a bowling alley for youth group, in a car from which you could only escape the back seat by climbing over the front seat. The radio was blaring My name is... though I didn't know it yet.

I thought the lyrics went, "Hi. My name is... who? My name is... What? My name is... Clown Sandwich."

I thought, who is this guy?

I think somebody else thought it was Clam Sandwich.

Ah, those innocent days.
