I was under the impression that we lived in a spiral galaxy.

We don't.

Some guys found out last year that we live in a barred spiral galaxy, so that actually means it's got a really big ungainly bar right through the middle with twirly bits coming off that.

I never signed up to live in a barred spiral galaxy. I specifically said that I wanted to live in a spiral galaxy. I'm pissed off.

Now I look at pictures of Andromeda and get jealous.
