the town in the valleys cheered

we just felt the full force of the hurrah
that swept the town approx. 4am

sustained to hilt, or hill
at edge of town.      so loud it got there.
fully a blanket effect on the clouds who repiled with grey snow
as on TV.    spires laughing.    bewildered
much to absolutely no-one�s chagrin
(              pending loss of sleep  )
utterly free being grey &heavy
&pricked on fences, looking blankly up 
at swirls	                                    &
